Opportunity 2: British Summer Soccer Camp

This is a sponsored post via US Family Guide.

My boys have participated in the Challenger British Soccer Camp for the past 3 years. They have loved it and I have been extremely impressed with the way the program is set up to be encouraging and focused on character values while learning soccer skills.

If you have children ages 3-18 who would like to spend a week this summer learning from high-level international soccer experts, this is a great program to consider. For extra fun, you can consider hosting a coach in your home during the week of your soccer camp.

This program is available in cities all across the United States, and we're fortunate here in Utah to have more than 50 scheduled sessions to choose from. No matter where you live, there should be a camp close by.

If you have questions after looking around the Challenger British Soccer website, feel welcome to ask them to me! And let me know which program you sign up for!

UPDATE:

This year our local offering for British Soccer Camp did not fit in our schedule, so I offered our tickets to my 7-yr-old niece. While she is athletic-minded, prior to attending camp she had very to little interest in soccer. She had voiced as much to her mother many times. My sister-in-law was weary, not knowing what to expect, and especially because the city program they signed up in was mostly older children. Here are 2 big changes in opinion once they had finished at the end of the week:

My niece: It was awesome! I want to play soccer all the time now. I can't wait to play on a team in a game again!

My sister-in-law: The coaches did an amazing job of making her feel included and teaching at her level while at the same time keeping the older kids engaged and developing. They were extremely willing to share information with me and friendly.
